The Shoot

Words cannot describe how happy I was about the finished outcome of my project. I loved the shots my photographers took. And despite my mishap along the way, I did arrange for the studio room to be booked  for my assessment 2 weeks prior, so in all respect I did manage my time well in that case, I am just a bit disappointed that my fibreglass mould didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I believe it would of picked up more detail than my flat pieces. Surprisingly the shots came out extremely well. I said to myself before the shoot, as long as the outcome looks effective, and is portrayed the way it was meant to, then id be happy.

The photographers were fun to work with, and the shoot was different for me, and also very fun.

Makeup and Hair - Laura Coleman

Photographers - Marcella Chan/ Teodora Andrisan

Model - Shipona Akthar

This is my favourite picture of the entire shoot. I loved the way the picture captured every single bit of detail to the face, and of course the seriousness in my models face, made it all the more effective

We did a few shots of the model holding the rabbit in various angles/positions, and he was happy to co-operate and sit there with no fuss, which I was happy about, and the reason I chose to use him was because of his gentle nature. He was amazing to work with, and I was thrilled to see him a part of my shoot.

The model did experience some discomfort after a while, as the photographers had to do some test shot lighting first, and set up for the photos.

I originally had my models hair up in a fishtail bun, and left some hair to droop over her eye, as if it was slightly greasy.

After various shots, I decided to take her hair out, and it did in fact make it slightly wavy, which is the look I was going for.

I pinned her hair back out of her face, and positioned her hair on one side of her shoulders so you could see the detail in the hair.

Charlie played an amazing part in my shoot, and the best photo had to be when he was being cradled like a baby.  The effect of the rabbit being in that position, would make the audience go "awhh" .
