Various companies that support cruelty free and companies that still animal allow testing

During the research process, it's been a very shocking eye opener to see companies that still allow this type of barbaric testing on animals. For makeup and skin products id normally purchase from my local store, have actually been tested on animals as by law, it is a duty they must carry out in order for it to be safe for us to you, does that make it right to test it on animals?

Some tests are standard practice for such companies and brands, and other animal tests are carried out because of local laws in importing countries (such as China) that require all beauty products to be tested on animals before they are allowed to be sold in that country. So some companies and brands may state that they don't support animal testing, but they would not be on the cruelty-free list because they choose to sell their products in countries that require animal testing.

The list below shows companies that use animal testing as well as particular brands that are tested on animals:

Brands....

*This brand has a 'no animal testing' policy in the make and manufacture of their cosmetics, however they have chosen to sell in markets that require (by law) animal testing on their products before they are cleared to sell in those markets. This means that their end products are tested on animals in some markets (for example, China).

Here are some of many products I use to use before discovering that these products are testing on. The chances are, if any product has no information to state that it hasn't been tested on, the liklihood is that the product has been tested on, but hasn't been labelled " cruelty free" ,

It's quite surprising how many popular products and cosmetics that are well known, are supportive of the testing on animals.

I know that products have to be tested on in order to go through the correct procedures if anything were to go wrong at home, but many companies within the industry are able to sell products that are cruelty free, so why can't the entire world turn to it as well?

Cruelty - Free Companies

Some of these products are also well known, but also quite pricey, maybe the reason why they aren't as popular as the companies that support the testing. I do however shop in some of the stores above, but not very often. But you can see the difference between how many companies still test on animals, or mention on their products they aren't tested on, when in fact they are tested before shipped in to the uk.
