Despite wanting to fill the entire page up with amazing makeup artists work, I thought it would be good to show a piece of work I didn't really like, Although this makeup was based on Tim Burton, the theme worked well, althought to me, It didn't strike me as an amazing final piece
I just feel more could of been added to the character instead of just a few pieces to the face and fancy hairwork.
Stella's Emo Minotaur,by Elizabeth Mino, this final outcome is amazing!!, the whole look still works well, the application is well applied, it works well with the model, and the character also has a badass side! , I love how this a complete change, but you can also still tell the person is still human but with animal characterisitics.

Inspired by the Rainbow Boa, a beautiful finished outcome, with great textures to the snake's skin ( great replica) a lot of thought taken into consideration in terms of the outcome. The colours of the skin has been applied perfectly, and the tones of the various colours works well.

This makeup was inspiring, although I don't quite hope to create a character like this, but the creation of the creature is amazing. The quality of the proshetic is beautifully made, and I just love the jewellery added into the character, the paintwork is beautifully blended and for a Winner, it definately deserved to win.
This final I liked a lot. The way in which the prosthetic has been applied looks perfect. The use of using skin tones makes it seem more realistis that the horns are apart of the character. a very subtle design with only a few alterations to the face, but a massive difference to the head. I love the texture to the horns and how you cannot see where the edges are.
A stereotypical wolf that always seems to be made within prosthetics. It has increasing become popular. I loved how realistic it looked, and the usage of canine teeth.
A faun character, one to concentrate on as I would love to re-invet this and take an inspirational approach using this image as a reference guide.
A very creapy, but effective makeup, I particulary love the demon-like eyes that gives the character a demonented.
I cannot say I liked this one very much, purely because it isn't something that would interest me in some way. Yes of course she'd been made up to look like some sort of abnormal mutant of some sort, but I wouldn't use it as inpiration.

This had to be one of my favourite face off characters that had been made up. Some sort of mythical dragon creature. Such amazing textures an colour, with the human features still visible.
This makeup actually won, and I am not surprised with the amount of thought, inspiration and work that had been put into it. It was so perfectly presented, and the use of colour was phenomenal.
my original makeup idea was to transform my model into a jackel like creature based from eqypitan culture, this showed a perfect example of that makeup inspired look.
A clever makeup demonstrated with the use of several colours, pigments and textures. I loved the overall look of this makeup.

I loved this makeup, purely beccause I am a big fan of exotic birds. I loved the use of material ( to replicate the parrots feathers) and the usage of colour.
